On planting new churches

O

My late father was a church planter, both in the United States and in Zambia, Africa. One of the things I most admire about my dad’s church planting and missionary endeavors is that he was a...

On Counterfeits

O

In this entry, I’d like to speak about two different kinds of counterfeits. First, I’ll address a counterfeit Christianity, and then we’ll move to discuss a counterfeit God/Christ...

On the Gospel

O

“This world needs the Gospel.” I’ve uttered that phrase quite a few times over the years while driving or walking or otherwise spending time in my small town. My reasons for saying...

About Me

I have the privilege of pastoring in the northeastern United States, and I am blessed with a wonderful wife and four precious children. We also have a dog, a cat, and a few chickens.

I enjoy writing about theology, current events, and issues that many would deem controversial (because, well, they are).

I am presently writing a book about how to be an absolutely insufferable Christian, drawing from my deep wells of experience as an absolutely insufferable Christian.

The Other Thing I Do
